Al's Hwy 50 is spearheaded by Al Laughlin, a founding member of the esteemed Colorado band, The Samples. His creative influence was instrumental in crafting their iconic sound, having helped write some of their most popular songs featuring catchy hooks and a bubble reggae style. Al collaborates with many of his old bandmates, as well as new talent from the vibrant Colorado music scene. Al's Hwy 50 is a visionary project named after a lonely road in Utah, Highway 50, where he once ran out of gas.
