Al Laughlin of The Samples brings his style of reggae, ska, rock, and jazz originals to The Louisville Underground May 3rd.
Al Laughlin was an original member of the esteemed Colorado band, The Samples. His creative influence was instrumental in crafting the iconic sound of The Samples, helped write some of their most popular songs featuring catchy hooks and a bubble reggae style. Al collaborates with many of his old bandmates, as well as new talent from the vibrant Colorado music scene. Als Hwy 50 is a visionary project spearheaded by Al Laughlin, a reggae/ska/jazz blend named after a lonely road in Utah, Highway 50, where he once ran out of gas.
